NoxInBox is the project of John Nox, artist, producer, and sound engineer, from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Since starting this project in 2012, NoxInBox has self-released music and worked with record labels like OTODAYO, Not Like That, and GAXEL, while receiving support from blogs, such as Nest HQ, Melting of Age, and many more. He has also shared the stage with many artists, including Smino, noname, Slumberjack, Troyboi, and Hudson Mohawke to name a few

From 2017-2020, John worked with songwriter and artist Aaron to form the music duo , GROUP. The artist project went on hiatus in 2020, but the pair continue to work together in a songwriting and production capacity.

Moving forward, NoxInBox will continue to release music from the project and look for opportunities to help produce artists around the country, with a focus on the Minneapolis music scene.
